Autumn is the perfect time to serve warm and hearty meals, even for your dog. This stew combines lean beef, eggs, seasonal vegetables, and sardines for a nutritious recipe, rich in proteins, omega 3, and antioxidants. The preparation is simple and is perfect for freezing in portions.
Ingredients
- 907 g of lean ground beef
- 2 large eggs (about 70 g)
- 660 ml of water (2 cups and 3/4)
- 70 g of chopped fresh spinach
- 140 g of chopped broccoli
- 150 g of chopped carrots
- 70 g of chopped red peppers
- 1 and a half cans of sardines in their natural juice, without added salt (168 g)
- 56 g of essential nutrient mix for dogs (half a cup)
- 14 g of hulled hemp seeds (half a tablespoon)
Whole food version (alternative to the nutrient mix):
- 70 g of beef liver
- 8 g of egg shell powder
- 7 g of wheat germ oil
- 1 g of kelp powder
- 3 g of salt
- 7 g of nutritional yeast
- 21 g of ground pumpkin seeds
- 7 g of ground ginger
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the ground beef, egg, and water.
- Add spinach, broccoli, carrots, and red peppers.
- Cook on low heat for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once cooked, add the drained sardines, hemp seeds, and nutrient mix, stirring well.
- Let it cool before serving to your dog.
For the whole food version, add the raw liver directly to the pot with the beef and proceed with the same timing, then incorporate the other whole ingredients instead of the mix.

Formulated for the maintenance of adult dogs. Yield: 2289 g, 2318 total calories (approximately 165 calories per cup).

In the refrigerator in an airtight container for 2-3 days, or in the freezer for up to 60 days in individual portions.
