Just two ingredients - a salmon fillet and a little oil - are enough to create crunchy and nutritious snacks. The omega-3s found in fish help maintain healthy skin and coat, reducing itching and inflammation. They are perfect for breaking into pieces and using during training.
Ingredients
- 1 fresh salmon fillet, with no bones
- 15 ml of extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Cut the salmon into thin strips of even thickness.
- Run your hand over each strip to check for any remaining bones.
- Spray the air fryer with a light coating of oil.
- Place the strips in the basket without overlapping them.
- Spray again with oil and cook at 120 degrees for 50-60 minutes, flipping the strips halfway through cooking.
- Allow to cool completely before serving.
Notes
No salt or spices: the natural flavor of the salmon is perfect as is. If you don’t have an air fryer, bake in a ventilated oven at 95 degrees for 2-3 hours.
Storage
In an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
