Chicken liver pâté for dogs: rich in iron, vitamin A, and protein. Perfect as a topper on meals, spread on treats, or frozen in portions.

Time ~20 min
Portions 30

This homemade chicken liver pâté is a concentrated nutrient snack for your dog. It provides iron, vitamin A, B vitamins, and high-quality proteins that support energy, vision, skin, and the immune system. It can be prepared in just a few minutes and stores well frozen in small molds to enrich everyday meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg of fresh chicken livers
  • 480 ml of water

Instructions

  1. Rinse the livers under running water and remove any residual fat or connective tissue.
  2. Pour the livers and water into a large pan.
  3. Cook over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the livers are no longer pink inside.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  5. Transfer the livers with all the cooking liquid into a tall bowl.
  6. Blend with an immersion blender until you achieve a smooth and homogeneous cream.
  7. Spread on a placemat or divide into silicone molds and freeze for future preparations.

Notes

The recommended serving size is about 1.5 teaspoons for every 4.5 kg of the dog's weight if served as a topper or snack. If used in a complete meal recipe, follow the quantities indicated in the recipe. The liver is very rich: introduce it gradually to avoid digestive disturbances.

Storage

In the refrigerator in an airtight container for 4-5 days, or frozen in silicone molds for up to 3 months.
