Soft Turkey and Ricotta Bites for Puppies

Tender, oven-baked small bites rich in protein, designed for puppies from 4 months old. Turkey and ricotta for a mild flavor and extra calcium.

Time ~35 min
Portions 8

The soft turkey and ricotta bites are a snack or meal supplement designed for puppies, from 4 months onwards. Ricotta provides easily absorbable calcium, essential for bone growth, while turkey is a lean and highly digestible meat.

Ingredients

  • 250 g of ground turkey breast
  • 120 g of fresh cow's milk ricotta
  • 50 g of finely ground oats
  • 1 medium egg
  • 1 small carrot (60 g) grated
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of extra virgin olive oil

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 °C.
  2. Grind the oats in a blender until you obtain a coarse flour.
  3. In a bowl, combine turkey, ricotta, oat flour, egg, grated carrot, and EVO oil.
  4. Mix carefully until you achieve a homogeneous and soft mixture.
  5. Form small bites of about 15 g (the size of a large hazelnut) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes, until the surface is slightly golden but the inside remains soft.
  7. Allow to cool completely before serving.

Notes

Reformulated with gentle ingredients, these bites are designed to be easy to chew even for baby teeth. The calcium from the ricotta supports skeletal development, while the whole egg provides choline and essential amino acids. To be used as a supplement (maximum 10% of the daily ration), not as a complete meal, and to be introduced gradually to check for lactose tolerance.

Storage

In the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 4 days. They can be frozen individually for a maximum of 1 month.
