Mashed sweet potatoes have become popular in the kitchen, but did you know you can prepare a version for your dog? Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, they are complemented with ground chicken and a mix of vegetables for a balanced and truly satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 2 sweet potatoes
- 1 tablespoon of omega 3 oil for dogs
- 454 g of ground chicken
- 480 ml of water
- about 200 g of mixed vegetables for dogs
- 2 tablespoons of kefir for garnish (optional)
- 1 teaspoon of parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 175 degrees.
- Wash the sweet potatoes, cut off the ends, and slice into rounds.
- Arrange the slices on a lined baking sheet and spray with olive oil.
- Bake in the oven for 10 minutes, until they soften.
- Remove from the oven and mash each slice with the bottom of a glass.
- Return to the oven for 5 minutes, flip, and continue for another 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a pan, cook the ground chicken with the water over low heat.
- Add the mixed vegetables and omega oil, stirring until you achieve a homogeneous mixture.
- Form small meatballs and place them on top of the mashed potatoes.
- Garnish with kefir and parsley and serve to your dog.
Storage
In the refrigerator for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 90 days.
