The slow cooker is the ideal ally for those with large dogs or for those who want to cook large quantities without effort. This recipe combines chicken breast, protein quinoa, sweet potato, kale, and broccoli, all cooked on low heat for hours to preserve aroma and nutrients. Approved by a nutritionist and veterinarian.

Ingredients

  • 2 kg of skinless, boneless chicken breast
  • 150 g of quinoa
  • 300 g of sweet potato
  • 140 g of bone broth without onion
  • 200 g of kale
  • 150 g of broccoli
  • 53 g of wheat germ
  • 80 g of essential nutritional mix for dogs

Method

  1. Place the chicken breast in the slow cooker with the bone broth, adding enough water to cover it.
  2. Cook on low temperature for 4 hours.
  3. Chop the vegetables in the food processor to make them easily digestible.
  4. Add the vegetables, quinoa, and wheat germ to the slow cooker. Stir and add water if necessary.
  5. Continue cooking on low temperature for another 4 hours.
  6. Turn off and incorporate the nutritional mix, stirring well.
  7. Allow to cool and divide into portions.
