Cooking for your dog doesn't have to be complicated or expensive. These crunchy chips have a single ingredient: sweet potato. Cooked in an air fryer in under ten minutes, they are rich in fiber and vitamins beneficial for intestinal health. They can also be made in the oven, although it takes a bit longer.
Ingredients
- 1 sweet potato
Procedure
- Wash the sweet potato and cut it into thin, coin-shaped slices.
- Place the slices in the air fryer in a single layer, without overlapping.
- Set the temperature to 200 degrees and cook for 3 minutes.
- Reduce the temperature to 150 degrees and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
- Let cool before serving to your dog.
Notes
If you don't have an air fryer, you can use the oven: cook at 120 degrees for about 2 and a half hours, turning the slices halfway through cooking.
Storage
They can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 90 days.
