Mashed Sweet Potatoes with Chicken for Dogs

Mashed sweet potatoes have become popular in the kitchen, but did you know you can prepare a version for your dog? Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, they are complemented with ground chicken and a mix of vegetables for a balanced and truly satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 sweet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon of omega 3 oil for dogs
  • 454 g of ground chicken
  • 480 ml of water
  • about 200 g of mixed vegetables for dogs
  • 2 tablespoons of kefir for garnish (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon of parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees.
  2. Wash the sweet potatoes, cut off the ends, and slice into rounds.
  3. Arrange the slices on a lined baking sheet and spray with olive oil.
  4. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes, until they soften.
  5. Remove from the oven and mash each slice with the bottom of a glass.
  6. Return to the oven for 5 minutes, flip, and continue for another 5 minutes.
  7. Meanwhile, in a pan, cook the ground chicken with the water over low heat.
  8. Add the mixed vegetables and omega oil, stirring until you achieve a homogeneous mixture.
  9. Form small meatballs and place them on top of the mashed potatoes.
  10. Garnish with kefir and parsley and serve to your dog.

Storage

In the refrigerator for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 90 days.
