Portions 1

Make Easter special for your dog with this cute chick made from a hard-boiled egg. The presentation is fun, but the ingredients remain simple and healthy: egg, strawberries, cucumber, and carrots. An original idea to surprise your furry friends during the festive days.

Ingredients

  • 1 hard-boiled egg
  • 1 tablespoon of water
  • 2 slices of strawberry
  • 2 slices of cucumber
  • 1 slice of carrot

Instructions

  1. Cut the hard-boiled egg in half lengthwise.
  2. In a bowl, mash the yolk with the water and mix until you get a cream.
  3. Transfer the cream into a piping bag and fill one half of the egg.
  4. Create decorative shapes from the strawberries and cucumber using cookie cutters.
  5. Cut a small triangle of carrot for the beak and cucumber discs for the eyes.
  6. Shape the top of the egg with a zigzag cut to give the effect of a broken shell.
  7. Assemble the chick's face on the egg.
  8. Serve to your dog with the fruits as a side.
