When spring arrives, many dogs suffer from itching and skin discomfort. These berry snacks provide natural relief thanks to the quercetin found in apples, blueberries, and strawberries, which acts as a gentle antihistamine. Chia seeds, rich in omega-3, help to reduce inflammation.
Ingredients
- 1 grated apple, without seeds
- 200 g of blueberries
- 4 large strawberries
- 2 tablespoons of chia seeds (1 tablespoon for every 4.5 kg of the dog's weight)
- 1 teaspoon of natural peanut butter
Instructions
- Cut the fruit into small pieces and place them in a non-stick saucepan over medium heat.
- Let simmer for 5-7 minutes until the fruit becomes soft.
- Mash with a fork and stir in the chia seeds and peanut butter.
- Allow to cool and pour the mixture into snack molds.
- Store in the freezer for 2-4 hours.
