Time ~60 min
Portions 6

A perfect recipe for weekly meal prep: ground turkey pairs with a mix of vegetables and a creamy layer of pumpkin, creating a high-protein and high-fiber autumn dish. Once firmed up in the freezer, the squares can be cut and served individually.

Ingredients

  • 454 g of ground turkey
  • 420 ml of mixed vegetable blend for dogs
  • 1 can of pure pumpkin puree (no added sugars or spices)
  • 360 ml of water
  • 1 tablespoon of omega oil for dogs

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground turkey in a pan and incorporate the vegetable mix according to the package instructions, adding water to rehydrate.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a square baking dish, pressing down well with the back of a spoon to compact it.
  3. Spread the pumpkin puree over the mixture forming an even layer.
  4. Finish with a tablespoon of omega oil.
  5. Place in the freezer for 1-2 hours, then cut into squares and serve.

Storage

They can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 90 days.
