These baked meatballs are perfect to prepare during the holidays, perhaps using leftover turkey. Turkey is a source of lean protein, oats provide fiber beneficial for digestion, and cranberries add antioxidants and a tangy note. Versatile: they can be served as a complete meal, as a topper, or even as a training treat.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of cranberries
- 2 tablespoons of green beans
- 450 g of ground turkey
- 240 ml of mixed vegetable blend for dogs
- 60 ml of oats
- 120 ml of water
Method
- Finely chop the cranberries and green beans, or blend them in a mixer.
- In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients.
- Mix by hand until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
- Form small meatballs using a scoop and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the oven at 175 degrees for about 25 minutes, until the turkey is well cooked.
- Let cool before serving.
Storage
They can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 90 days.
