Air Fryer Chicken Hearts for Dogs

Easy protein snacks: chicken hearts cooked in an air fryer with a drizzle of oil. Rich in iron and flavor, perfect as a treat or meal supplement.

Chicken hearts are a protein- and iron-rich snack, perfect for dogs. With the air fryer, you can cook them in no time, achieving tasty and crunchy bites without the need for large ovens or long preparations.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of fresh chicken hearts
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 leaf of black kale for garnish (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon of chopped pumpkin seeds for garnish (optional)

Procedure

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 200 degrees for 4 minutes.
  2. Rinse the chicken hearts under running water.
  3. Place them in the basket and spray with olive oil.
  4. Set the timer for 20 minutes.
  5. Every 5 minutes, shake the basket to turn the hearts.
  6. Let cool and finish with black kale and chopped pumpkin seeds, if desired.
  7. Portion and serve.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or in the freezer for 3-4 months.
