Ingredients
- 80 g of hulled hemp seeds
- 70 g of sunflower seeds
- 55 g of chia seeds
- 35 g of flaxseed meal
- 15 ml of powdered psyllium husk
- 240 ml of boiling water
- 5 ml of powdered turmeric
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 175 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lightly chop the hemp and sunflower seeds in a blender to make them more digestible.
- In a large bowl, combine all the seeds, flaxseed meal, psyllium, and turmeric.
- Add the boiling water and mix for about a minute, until the mixture thickens.
- Transfer the dough to the baking sheet and spread it as thinly as possible with a spatula.
- Bake for 45 minutes, until it hardens.
- Let it cool and break it into pieces suitable for your dog.
Notes
For small dogs, break the crackers into very small pieces to avoid choking hazards. Serve in moderation as a supplement to their diet.
Storage
In an airtight container for 1-2 weeks.
