Chickpea and Cauliflower Bowl for Dogs without Meat

A homemade meatless meal for dogs, made with chickpeas, cauliflower, peas, and hemp seeds. Rich in fiber, antioxidants, and vitamins, perfect for those looking to avoid raw meat.

When you feel like cooking for your dog without handling raw meat, this bowl is the ideal solution. Chickpeas, cauliflower, peas, and hemp seeds create a balanced mix of plant-based proteins, fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants. Quick to prepare, it is perfect as an alternative meal or for a more varied weekly rotation.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of cooked chickpeas (about 254 g)
  • 295 g of hulled hemp seeds
  • 170 g of fresh or frozen peas
  • 300 g of cauliflower
  • 1 tablespoon of safflower oil (about 14 g)
  • 1 and a half teaspoons of calcium carbonate or egg shell powder (about 8 g)
  • 720 ml of water
  • 120 ml of essential nutrients mix for dogs (about 57 g)

Instructions

  1. Place the chickpeas, peas, cauliflower, and calcium carbonate in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a pan, add the hemp seeds and water, then steam for about 10 minutes.
  3. When the water has been absorbed, remove from heat and incorporate the essential nutrients mix and safflower oil.
  4. Mix well, allow to cool completely, and serve.

Storage

Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 90 days.
