No-Bake Granola Bars for Dogs

No-bake bars with oats, peanut butter, pumpkin puree, and carob chips. Ready in just a few minutes with refrigeration, ideal for outdoor adventures.

Time ~70 min
Portions 15

When time is tight, these no-bake granola bars are the winning solution. Only a few ingredients are needed: oats, peanut butter, pumpkin, and carob in place of chocolate (safe for dogs). They are compacted in molds and set in the freezer in one hour. Perfect for long walks.

Ingredients

  • 120 g of rolled oats
  • 130 g of natural peanut butter (without xylitol)
  • 85 g of pure pumpkin puree
  • 91 g of carob chips (instead of chocolate)

Method

  1. In a bowl, combine oats, peanut butter, pumpkin puree, and carob chips.
  2. Mix until you achieve a homogeneous and sticky mixture.
  3. Distribute the mixture into molds or rectangular containers, pressing it down well.
  4. Place in the freezer for at least one hour, until the bars are firm.
  5. Remove from molds and serve.

Notes

Carob is a valid and safe alternative to chocolate (which is absolutely forbidden for dogs). Use xylitol-free peanut butter. Offer in moderation.

Storage

In the refrigerator for up to 1 week; in the freezer for up to 2 months.
