Spring is the perfect time for a light and colorful stew. This recipe combines ground chicken, seasonal vegetables, and a handful of superfoods like salmon oil and chia seeds for a tasty and nutritionally complete meal. Ideal for weekly meal prep.
Ingredients
- 700 g of ground chicken
- 480 ml of water
- 19 g of freeze-dried liver powder
- 2 medium carrots (90 g)
- 160 g of green beans
- 80 g of broccoli
- 25 g of essential nutritional mix for dogs
- 5 g of chia seeds
- 4 g of salmon oil
Procedure
- Chop the carrots, broccoli, and green beans into small pieces suitable for your dog's size.
- In a large pot, pour in the water, add the ground chicken and vegetables.
- Cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes, breaking apart the chicken with a spatula, until the meat is cooked and the vegetables are tender.
- Turn off the heat and stir in the freeze-dried liver and chia seeds.
- Finally, add the nutritional mix and salmon oil, stirring to distribute them evenly.
- Allow to cool and divide into portions.
Notes
A rotational diet with different protein sources is recommended to ensure a variety of nutrients. Check with your veterinarian regarding your dog's caloric needs.
