When the heat becomes noticeable, our four-legged friend also deserves a refreshing treat. This DIY ice cream combines antioxidant-rich blueberries, natural peanut butter, and creamy coconut milk for a healthy and tasty dessert that supports skin and digestive health.

Ingredients

  • 240 ml of coconut milk
  • 200 g of fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 120 g of peanut butter (just peanuts, no salt or sugar)
  • 15 ml of plant omega oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour the coconut milk, blueberries, and peanut butter into a blender.
  2. Blend until you achieve a smooth and homogeneous cream.
  3. Transfer the mixture into silicone molds or a resealable container.
  4. Let it rest in the freezer for at least 1 hour, until fully frozen.
  5. Serve a small scoop to your dog, optionally drizzled with a little omega oil.

Notes

Offer this treat in moderation, as an occasional reward. You can substitute blueberries with strawberries, bananas, or small pieces of seedless apple.

Storage

Keep the ice cream in an airtight container in the freezer for up to one month. Always check the consistency before serving.
