When the heat is on, your dog needs to cool down too. These ice cubes combine the hydrating power of watermelon with celery, which is high in fiber and low in calories. They are light, natural, and perfect for summer breaks in the garden.

Ingredients

  • 8 stalks of celery
  • 1/4 of a small watermelon
  • 120 ml of water

Procedure

  1. Cut the watermelon into cubes, removing the seeds, and slice the celery stalks.
  2. Transfer all the ingredients to a blender and blend on high speed until smooth.
  3. Strain the mixture through a sieve, pressing the pulp with a spoon to extract the juice.
  4. Pour the resulting liquid into ice cube trays.
  5. Transfer to the freezer for about 2 hours, until completely frozen.

Notes

Always make sure to remove the seeds from the watermelon before blending.

Storage

They can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months.
