Dog Biscuits with Oats, Peanut Butter, and Egg

Dog biscuits made with three ingredients: oat flour, peanut butter, and egg. An easy and quick recipe, ideal for those starting to cook for their dog.

Time ~17 min
Portions 30

A minimal recipe that satisfies both dogs and their owners. Just three pantry ingredients are enough to make soft, golden-brown cookies that are perfect for those who want to start cooking at home for their dogs without complications. Ideal as a daily treat or as a small gift.

Ingredients

  • 90 g of oat flour (3/4 cup)
  • 240 g of natural peanut butter (1 cup, unsweetened and salt-free)
  • 1 egg

Procedure

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees.
  2. In a bowl, combine oat flour, peanut butter, and egg, mixing until you achieve a soft and smooth dough.
  3. Shape small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Gently flatten each ball with the tines of a fork, creating the classic crisscross pattern.
  5. Bake for about 12 minutes, until lightly golden.
  6. Let cool completely before serving to your dog.

Notes

Always check that the peanut butter is natural and free of xylitol. These cookies remain soft even after baking; for a crunchier result, extend the baking time by a few minutes. Serve 1-2 cookies a day depending on the size of the dog.

Storage

In an airtight container for up to a week, or in the freezer for longer storage.
