The Eurasier
The Eurasier is one of the youngest breeds in the canine world: it was born in Germany in 1960 from the idea of a single man, Julius Wipfel, who wanted to create the "perfect family dog." The result is extraordinary: balanced, sweet, intelligent, and never aggressive.
Origins
Wipfel started by crossing a Chow Chow with a Wolfsspitz; later, he added the Samoyed. He wanted a dog that combined the dignity of northern breeds, the calmness of the Chow Chow, and the sweetness of the Samoyed. The FCI recognized it in 1973.
